Springfield's Tradition of Community Service
Springfield Commercial Roofing is comprised of individuals who care deeply about their families and their communities. Other Springfield employees are equally dedicated to church and community and are allowed time away from work for community service. Here are just a few examples of ways in which the company works with the community:
Angel Daycare: Springfield Commerical Roofing was asked to bid on the re-roof of the future Father Fred/Angel Care Daycare Center in Traverse City. Terry and his employees met and decided that the company would supply the materials and the Springfield employees would donate their time to re-roof the day care center. Materials were ordered and a Saturday was scheduled that fit into the remodeling schedule of other contractors involved. However, the weather was not good for roofing on that particular Saturday. So, the field employees dedicated the following Monday as a day to work without pay so they could complete the project on time. Every employee showed up.
